James Derry

James Derry graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2005 with a degree in Civil Engineering and began his construction career in the world of residential new construction.  In 2012, he settled into commercial construction Project Management, focusing primarily on new-construction projects throughout New England. James’s projects included water and wastewater treatment plants, pre-engineered metal buildings, and utility work. More recently, he was elevated to a senior level project manager for projects focused on high-end commercial construction, land acquisition and construction of multifamily projects. James is not one to run away from a challenge. A complex project is always welcome, and he prides himself on finding solutions to problems rather than dwelling on them.

James enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, swimming and hiking as much as possible.  James and his family relocated from Massachusetts to South Carolina in 2022 to facilitate this family goal year-round, and to join the OMNI team.
