Sixth Street SE Redevelopment: Phase 1

OMNI is pleased to partner with the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Affordable Housing Group, LLC, and VCDC to deliver Phase 1 of the Sixth Street SE Redevelopment, a 47-unit podium-style structure, with units and community space above underground parking. This redevelopment features a fitness room, community activity and gathering spaces, business center, leasing office, medical clinic space, solar net metering, and community-wide public and private Wi-Fi for residents. The project is another example of Resident-Led Design, and is designed to achieve Enterprise Green Communities, DOE Zero Energy Ready Homes, and Energy Star sustainability certifications. OMNI is proud to continue the partnership with Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority, PHAR, Red Light Management, Riverbend Development, VCDC, Virginia Housing, Grimm + Parker Architects, Timmons Group, UrbanCore Construction, Tiger Solar, and many others, with an anticipated completion at the beginning of 2027.
