Hickory Hope Apartments at Southwood delivered 121 affordable housing units, divided between 3 unique buildings, for valued client Piedmont Housing Alliance. The project is situated in and included as a part of the larger Southwood Community redevelopment, which exemplifies zero displacement for current residents during construction. Hickory Hope features two fitness rooms, community rooms, an early childhood learning center, leasing office, solar net metering, and community-wide public and private Wi-Fi for residents. The project achieved Enterprise Green Communities and DOE Zero Energy Ready Homes sustainability certifications. OMNI is proud of the partnership with Piedmont Housing Alliance, Virginia Housing, BRW Architects, Timmons Group, Tiger Solar, and Purcell Construction that completed this project in the summer of 2025.
